it could be the thermostat or it could have a leak in theradiator's hose or radiator
Plugged catalytic converter? Air/Fuel filter? Worn plugs?

it is located under the drivers side cab on the indside of the frame I have a 04 Sierra SLE single cab and I could not find the gas filter, why? According to the dealer some models from 2004 and up has not fuel filter. I check with my truck VIN # and computer shows my truck do not have fuel filter. I hope this helps you Thanks Rafiux
Depends on what model truck. Mine is a 6 lug 1500. The bigger models are 8.

it only has one unless you have duel exhaust. not Correct, It has 2 on a Sierra SLE with a 5.3ltr
