it is caused by blood being trapped for more then 2 seconds this is what causes the pain in your inner thigh.

It is most likely a cramp of the muscle. These seem to happen more frequently as we age.

The best thing to do is to stretch that muscle as far as you can by placing the inside of the foot on the affected leg flat on the floor and squatting with the other leg and hold it there for about 30 seconds. It should feel better in a few seconds.

You must hold that position for awhile or it will come right back.

Often oddly, punching the location of the pain helps. Also vigorous rubbing or massaging.

Pain killers are useless because the cramp will subside on it's own in a few agonizing minutes.

Your bowels might be a bit hard or large, drink more water and it may help.

It could also be appendicitis, an ovarian cyst (if you are female) or a number of other things.

Always have persistent pains checked out by a physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner.

Thigh Pain can be caused by many factors such as Infected lipoma, septic Arthritis and chronic osteomyelitis. The same also goes for Ewing's tumor, rhadomyosarcoma and osteosarcoma. Injuries can lead to excruciating pain. These can mainly include groin strain, rupture of the rectus femoris and pulled hamstring. Other causes are inflammation of the adductor muscles, contusion of quadriceps and tight hamstring muscles.

Yes they do form lean thighs. If you do them the right way- front foot pointing forward, back foot also pointing forward- then they help build muscles in your calves and thighs. I do them after I workout and found my thighs were tighter than usual. So, it does help make your thighs lean.
