∙ 13y agoIf someone is taking a picture of you in a place that is darker than the flash of the light on your camera, when the light flashes it bounces off the back of your eye which is red (from red blood cells), thus capturing an appearance of a red pupil in the picture. Key to reducing red eyes in pictures, use proper lighting or don't use the flash.
