You need to do a bunch of things to make any significant horsepower and torque increase. One cheap way is to buy a damaged 350 block (like cracked) that has been modified and transfer the good parts to yours..... look for headers, ignition, cam, heads, rockers, lifters, ...mark them so they go back on the correct lobes, intake, carb, high stall converter if AT, and rear gears that match power output.
You might even get lucky with crank and pistons. Know your compression ratio.
ur cheapest way to increase horse power would be replacing your air filter with a cold air intake. you can also add a perfomance chip to your ecu.
find a good big block Chevy engine and install it.
Clean out the carb and add a high flow air filter
turbo charge or at most a 75 shot of the giggle gas

A horse should only ever be castrated by a licenses Equine vet. You can have the procedure done at your farm or boarding stable under local anesthetics to reduce costs. the horse would need to be somewhere where the ground is soft like a sand arena or round pen so that it can lay down during the operation. You can also take the horse to a vet hospital, but this will increase the cost of the surgery.
I think it is around 160
