The cheetah doesn't really have an offense. Their bones are lighter like a birds which allows them to run fast. They can easily be cruched by bigger predators (like lions or leopards) or beaten by hyenas who have very powerful jaws that can chew through bones. Yes the cheetahs have sharp teeth and retractable claws but they are of little use in defense unless they are protecting their young from baboons or humans. They are really only used to catch prey.
