The child, Renesmee, will have vampire traits (e.g drinking animal blood through hunting, stops growing at 16-18 then becomes immortal, etc etc) but also human traits too - regular eye colour, for one.
So, the answer, is neither. Half-human, half-vampire (or immortal).
