He was among the group of missionaries that came to the Philippines in 1948, baptized the first converts in 1950 and served as the first pastor of the first Southern Baptist church in the Philippines. The Winston Crawley Mission Center is presently located at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary, located in Baguio City, Philippines.
