The reset code is on the back of the radio,
You need to go to your local Volvo dealer to get the radio codes. Just unplug the entire radio/cd or cassette player and take it into the dealer. They can look up the radio id #'s and give you the unlock code
the radio code can be attained from dealer by either the vehical vin number or by the number on the the unit model and serial # usally the vin is the easiest.
I reset mine by removing the radio fuse and leaving it out for 3 hours before reinserting it. After reinserting the radio fuse, the radio will then accept your code unique to your radio.
If you have a Volvo roiginal radio, it is likely to be produced by Alpine. Depending on your radio, different Alpine changers may fit.
You need to go to your Volvo dealership and they will do it for free. If you call them they will give you a code and tell you to keep your radio on for two hours than put that code in there but that does not work it is better to just go to the dealership they will do it for free and than they will give you the code in case it happens again.
quite possible if cd is stuck this code will appear
Get the serial # off the radio and contact your local dealer.
how can you get the code for the radio,cd to play? the code should be on nthe back of the radio if you can get to it.and sometimes its possible for it to be written in you car manual by previous owners.
Turn the radio on. The led will read CODE. Input the four digits by touching each number on the radio/CD facade.
