column heading
A column of numbers containing a decimal point, like prices.
A word or number in a column is typically referred to as a "cell." In the context of spreadsheets or databases, a cell is the intersection of a row and a column, containing specific data or information. Each cell can hold different types of data, such as text, numbers, or formulas.
To sort alphanumeric data like "P15-033-1" in Excel, first ensure the data is in a single column. Select the column, then go to the "Data" tab and click on "Sort." In the sort dialog, you can choose to sort by the column containing your alphanumeric data, and select either "A to Z" or "Z to A" for the desired order. Excel will sort the data based on the alphanumeric characters, treating numbers and letters appropriately.
It would use the data in the column as the basis for the sorting and sort the rest of the data.
This is not a question, but my best guess to answer is: If the numeric data is too wide for the column, then increase the width of the column.
A Graph containing data!! :)

Data can be transposed in Excel, so that the data that was in a row will go into a column and data that was in a column will go into a row. There is a TRANSPOSE function or you can copy your data and then use Paste Special and pick the Transpose option.
To insert a new column chart, select your data. In the Charts group on the Insert tab, you can choose a column chart from the different types of charts available. To insert a new column in an existing chart, you need to change the data series. In the Select Data option, you can insert a new set of data which will create a new column in your chart.
It means to change the layout of data, in terms of its direction. So if data is in a row, transposing it would put into a column. Transposing data in a column will put it into a row. A full table of data can be transposed, not just one row or one column.
Yes. The data will adjust to wrap within the width of a column.
