She (and her sister Margot, and her mother) were then transported to Auschwitz, where they have were forced to do heavy manual work. In October 1944, Anne and Margot were sent to a different camp, Bergen-Belsen, but their mother was kept at Auschwitz.
Anne Frank and her family were sent to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where she tragically died shortly before the camp's liberation.
