in the center of the rear back window
Its likely it is the power window relay switch, located on the right hande side under the glove box, i think its called a kick panel, but its located behind the computer control module.
It's the security control center for Vista. You can use it to activate and change settings for your firewall, antivirus, and updates.
Is it a particular window that's gone bad or do none of them work? Before you suspect a window motor (located in each door) or the power window control unit (driver's door) check out the fuses under the hood. You'll find the power control center on the passenger side under the black cover. They're 20 amp blade fuses. I'm guessing there's your culprit.
That window/program would be called: 'Network and Sharing Center'.

the relay for the drivers power window is up under the dash to the right of the gas pedal just in front of the center console
The rear window has no control. It is a fixed window.
the power control module is located on the passanger side of the car above the plate where the carpet meets the dash.
