Madison took all the notes at the constitutional convention. That took effort and concentration. It was very cool.
He had trouble with math but he never gave up and got it done
I dared my friend to lick my foot once. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced but she did it.
James Madison defined pure democracy as a system of involvement of the populace in every national decision. The problems associated with this form of government is that it is very difficult to get the consensus to get anything done.

James Madison lived in the White House when the British set fire to it in 1814.Madison had left some time before the British arrived but his wife, Dolley, barely had time to escape before they came to torch the house. The was another serious fire in the West Wing due to a faulty chimney flue while Herbert Hoover was President. The living quarters were not threatened but extensive damage was done to the oval office area.
Actually there was a record kept of the convention and it was done by James Madison. He wrote down everything that happened within the convention and because of him we know what happened and why.
the reward of a thing rightly done is to have done it
Karate all the way. i know i do karate and have done a couple others. karate is the best.
Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were in France until 1789 and 1788 respectively during the creation of the U.S. Constitution (1787). James Madison is "known" as the Father of the Constitution because his input was closest to the resulting components. Plus because kept the best notes, he gave it voice after 1826. The proceedings were kept secret per the Rules Committee and only released after Madison died.
There are only three writers of the federalist papers: John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamiliton. John Jay I think did only diplomatic work (Jays Treaty anyone?). Alexander Hamilton was the first Secretary of Treasury under George Washington, may have done other things but the only other thing ever mentioned to me was him dying in a gun dual (I think 1800s?). Lastly, Madison became the 4th President.
What is the most adventuresome thing you've done in the past year?
Many of the founding fathers had read the political essays of Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison. They knew how the government of Great Britain worked and wanted to prevent tyrants.
