No. If you are asking about the "code" that must be entered to answer a question without being a logged-in member, that is to protect wikianswers from attacks by spambots. Before it was implemented there were a hundred or more "answers" every day that had to be deleted because they were links to dangerous websites.
If you're talking about the captcha thing when you sign up, it's to make sure that where-ever-you-are's severs don't get overloaded by spambots.

From what I've heard, Stevie Rachelle has closed registration due to the amount of spambots and hackers. It's a major bummer...i could have contributed greatly to the site. DICK!
