He was killed by the bull red rock, and when the bulls horn went threw Lanes back it ounctured his heart.

Washington refused to allow friendship with anyone influence his decisions, thus this may be the reason some believe he had a heart of stone. That is actually the quality that made him a Natural Leader and obvious choice as the countries First President of the United States.
