A thermometer placed in iced water can be expected to indicate a temperature of around 0oC, as this is the temperature at which water freezes. The temperature indicated may be higher if there is a lot of water relative to ice in the container (for example, if a lot of ice has melted).

There is no accounting for taste. (original answer)This is a bit subjective, after all temperature is a matter of personal preference. Some coffee is served iced as well! For brewing the industry considers the best temperature to be between 92 and 96 degrees C (197.6 - 204.8F) for 90% of the contact time with the grounds. There are techniques for faster brewing that use higher temperatures according to the final product that you are attempting to make. This induces a slightly burnt taste that some people like. Lower temps bring out more bitter, light tasting coffee.Back to my coffee... cheers!
It depend on if its hot tea or iced tea. If it's hot then the temperature of the tea is probably higher than a freezing iceburg
Solubility tends to increase with increasing temperature. Think of sugar which dissolves far faster in hot tea as opposed to iced tea. Similarly, natural gas does not dissolve water but at higher temperatures its ability to hold water increases. This is because the molecules have more energy.
There is always water in the air in its gaseous form. When air is warmer it can hold more water before the water begins to condense and form into droplets. That's why you hear about relative humidity in the weather report - if the relative humidity is 50% it means that there is about half the maximum amount of water in the air that it can hold at its current temperature. So the bottom line is, when air cools it can hold less water. Your glass of iced tea cools the air around it, the air can no longer hold all of the water that is in it and the water condenses onto the surface of the glass. You would find that there would be more condensation in more humid weather.
