35 psi on the original or reccommended tires
30 psi
35psi
32 PSI
It will be written in small print on the side of the tire. It will also be written on a label in one of the door jambs. Go with the label. The pressure written on the side of the tire is the maximum tire pressure the tire will safely hold and is not the pressure you should inflate the tires to. The correct pressure is written on the driver's door post as stated above.
It should turn off automatically after you put in the correct tire pressure. I just did this the other day.
I would check your owner's manual for the Correct Tire inflation used for your vehicle. Many people make the mistake of using the tire pressure on the side of the tire as the correct inflation pressure, which IS NOT the correct one. That is just the max. inflation pressure for the load carrying limit for that specific tire as marked on the tire itself. If your tire pressure is reading correct then, I would take it to the dealer, could be a faulty sensor. Good Luck.
My 2003 4 runner is recommended for 32psi. Check the drivers door jam. On it you will most likely find a sticker telling you the correct tire pressure.
what is the correct tire pressure on a 2002 vw passat
