my breaks stuck after we got the four wheeler back from a crapy mechanic. how do i get the drum off to free the breaks ?
I have a 86 moto4 80 all aftermarket... On the road it gets up around 55-60
If you're sitting on the 4-wheeler, it is on the bottom of the left side of the frame, just in front of the footrest at the same height. It's small, so you'll have to really clean that area.

It is on the left side frame rail behind the wheel well.
loosen the locking nut while holding the screw with a screw driver, then you turn the screw clock wise until you feel resistance( like its touching something inside) then you back it off 1/4 turn, hold it in place while you tighten the locking nut , should be pretty close.
Valve Clearence Measurement steps: turn the starter pully conuterclockwise with a wrench Vlave clearence must be measeured when the engine is cold to touch Allign the "T" mark on the fiywheel with the stationary pointer on the crankecase cover When the "T" mark is aligned with the stationary pointer the piston is at top dead center (TDC) Measure the valve clearence using a feeler gauge intake 0.05 - 0.09mm (0.002-0.004 in) exhaust 0.11-0.15 mm (0.004 - 0.006 in) if you need more info send me a email dlg58@canada.com
