A months supply of Optic contact lenses will typically cost the user between 20 and 50 dollars depending on the type of contacts one needs. If one has vision insurance, this may cover some of the costs?

Why do my contact lenses tear I am wearing month to month contactlenses but they keep on tearing and do not even hold for a week then they are taered or chipped?

You probably have soft contact lenses. They are very thin and can easily be ripped you will have to be more gentle with them. I have contacts that have to be changed every other month and they are soft contacts but i am gentle with them so they never rip. If you have hard contacts then they are probably low quality.

If you are not using disposable contact lens, how long is a pair of contact lens good for?

When using a pair of hard contact lenses, frequent replacement lenses should be replaced monthly or quarterly. Traditional (reusable) lenses should last six months or longer. It is recommended that they be changed at least once every 8 or 9 months. I have been wearing disposable contact lenses for years. I started out wearing the Durasoft 3 lenses that I replaced once per year. I currently wear Freshlook lenses and replace them every month. I think it is more healthy that way.

What are the different types of contact lenses?

Contact lenses may be daily or monthly.Daily disposables are worn once and thrown out. They are convenient and hastle free and do not require any lens care regimes.Monthly disposable lenses are worn for a month and require cleaning every time they are used.Depending on your need and frequency of use either option could be suitable for you.Contact lenses basically are of two types soft and hard – These are made of plastics and other material that allow oxygen to pass through to the cornea. The hard lenses most commonly used today are rigid, gas-permeable lenses for short. Excellent

Can soft contact lens dissolve in the eye?

no, soft contact lenses are made out of a plastic like material. The best way to remove it is with a saline eye wash solution. if that doesn't help seek professional help.... please don't be one of those ppl who wait way too long.

Can you wear contact lenses more than once?

Not at the same time. You should have a left and a right lens. Each one is designed to correct the fault in the appropriate eye. So in short the answer is yes you can wear them in either eye (i.e. they would fit) but they will only work properly if you put them in the correct eyes.
