It is a personal opinion to say the high cost of maintenance is worth it or not. However, the cost of maintenance is higher than most other cars. Mercedes does not let other companies create similar parts (brakes etc.) that will work with their vehicles. Most other vehicle brands have generic parts that will work just as well as OEM parts, thus cutting the cost to you.

You should take it to a MB daler and tell them to reset the computer, it shouldn't cost you anyhing. If the light does not go away, there may be a problem with the sensor.
