If you want to buy a brand new apartment in a nice area that is comfortable (120sqm/1292sqf) and still cheap that would cost about 28,000,000 Forints - $150000. A house in the suburbs can be cheaper a little or more expensive depending on the area and the conditions of the house. But it's similar in price. Renting an average apartment for a month would cost about $300 to $500. While a room would cost approx. $200.
