For adult Judoka: (starting from lowest)
Gokyu 5th kyu White belt
Yonkyu 4th kyu White belt
Sankyu 3rd kyu Brown Belt
Nikyu 2nd kyu Brown belt

However you do not need to go through all of the above ranks, if you are able to compete well and pass the written and physical exams you can go from a white to black belt without having to obtain a brown belt first.
