I believe it has to do with its' chassis weight, such as 1/4 and 1/2 ton , such as Chevy s-10 vs silverado 1500
With a good set of snow tires it will go as good as any RWD car. Just put about 100 pounds in the trunk for extra weight over the drive wheels.
The 1983 Ford F 100 manifold bolt torque specifications are 45 pounds. The manifold bolts should be torqued in 15 pound intervals.
