A Greek Myth is a story about Greek Gods or heroes who do fantastical things to make the world we know and "love" today.

Here's an example:

There was a new Greek village, and they wanted to name it after a God. Athena (Goddess of wisdom) and Poseidon (God of the Seas) wanted the name. To win the event, Poseidon conjured up a horse (or a stream in other stories). Athena made an olive tree pop up out of nowhere. Athena won. The city is now what we all know as Athens.
