I assume you know coal is a solid and petroleum is a liquid.
They were created in different ways. Coal was made from land based plant life, mainly ferns, that became submerged, such as being in flooded forests or swamps. Since they were under water these dead plants did not decay completely. Over time they were were covered by sediment. As they were buried deeper and deeper the temperature and the pressure of the sediment compressed it and turned it into coal.
Oil was created by a similar process but it was made from sea life (plankton) that died and drifted to the bottom of a lake or sea.
These are same
Obsidian has a higher luster(shinier) than coal, coal is organic, and coal is sedimentary and obsidian is igneous
peat is soft and the others aren't
Lignite is a inferior grade coal due to less cv and carbon content as compare to that of bituminous coal.
one is brown and black but one is more efficient, guess which one ;)
Nuclear because of urenium ana diesel because of petrolium product
These are same
Petrolium, emeralds, nickel, coffee, coal, and (illegal drugs- to us)
a non renewable resource is coal and petrolium

difference between traditional sources of energy and coal
mineral, coal ,natural gases ,liquidstone, petrolium, sand, gravel, and timber
Petrolium, tin, iron ore, rubber, wood, coal, and lead are some of Nigeria's natural resources
coal in the western areas has a lower energy content
