Obviously a Master of International Business might be expected to have more of an international perspective than a Master of Business Administration. The problem, I guess, comes in recognition. People generally claim to know what an MBA is, although even people who have done one (like little c) are not entirely sure.

You would like to know what is the main difference between a Master of International Business and an MBA?

Clearly, the word 'international' could mean something; it may not, however. My experience would be that plenty of MBA programmes are incredibly international, so I suspect that it would simply be regarded as a marketing word game, Vincent! You're French Canadian, right?

"Because, as you look in the program description, you don't see much difference.

Does it make a big difference to recruiters?"

What matters to recruiters is the prestige of the school and how good you are. Obviously if a consultancy like Accenture or McKinsey's has the best MBAs from the top schools, they can say to their clients, look at our consultants, they went to Wharton, Harvard and Insead, for example. Therefore, we are the best in the business!

My advice would be to work out where you want to work, and what you need to work there. Then choose your course, work experience etc.
