What is the difference between MySpace and Facebook from an unbiased point of view?

myspace is more a private and personal thing, you can have layouts on your profile, and pimp out your profile, and because able to talk and communicate with friends, facebook anyone can see wat you are doing and its more public and you cant really have a profile layout
You cannot have a layout profile on Facebook, but it seems to be more organized. You can change your settings so that your actions remain more private (just like on MySpace) and you can also choose to not see what other people are doing. MySpace is very similar in this manner, but like the answer above, you can personalize it more with layout and what not. Both of them have a chat, both of them let you modify your profile, and both are social networks which are usually for sharing information to begin with.
