What is the difference between New Zealand food and Chinese food?

There are many differences between the foods of New Zealand, which may be considered very "meat and potatoes," and China, which is a much larger country with a vast array of styles, but all tend to be heavier on vegetables and lighter on carbs, by comparison.

The answer is night and day. My country is located next to Australia, our roots are British, the Queen is on our money. Our traditional food is British as well. We roast a lot of meats like Lamb (our main export), eat a lot of fish and chips, meat pies, sausages, potatoes etc.
It's true that in recent years many former citizens of Hong Kong have moved to New Zealand, therefore there are many Asian restuarants. However traditional New Zealand food still remains very much British inspired.
