Quite the same. However, Romanian is a latin language - Moldavian is Romanian language with a bit of Russian influence. Linguistically, there is no significant difference. In fact there is no Moldavian language, there is only the Moldavian spoken variety of the Romanian language.

Romanian and Moldovan are essentially the same language, with some regional variations in vocabulary and accent. Moldovan is often considered a dialect of Romanian, though some political and historical factors have led to the recognition of Moldovan as a separate language in Moldova. Linguistically, they are very similar and mutually intelligible.
