The difference between a limited and a hybrid is that a hybrid runs on gas and energy but a limited runs in gas. But they both usually have all the gizmo's and gadgets like navigation.

I would like to clarify this answer a bit. Limited is merely a package of options that is available like most other vehicles. Limited has the most options with a few still not included but not many. I just purchased a 2012 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. The hybrid is a system that combines a gasoline engine and electric motors to maximize the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. Mine is rated as 28 city/28 highway. The hybrid system helps mostly in city driving with short distances and stopping and starting which normally uses lots of fuel.
