300s are a little more refined, a little more HP, slightly more tuneable. Later 300s have electronictrickery, most don't.
Both are very reliable strong engines and can be DIY maintained with ease. Also have the same MPG too.
I have a 200 and love it for its simplicity, it is on 136k miles and still going strong.
The key is to service them regularly, but that's the same for any engine!
The engines are a totally different design but the crankshaft design of both can be traced back to 1958 at least. The 300tdi and the 200tdi will fit your gearbox except one bolt which you leave out, you will need to move one engine mount and make up the exhaust and wiring loom to suit. The 300tdi will not fit behind the grille of a 2A without a lot of custom plumbing for the radiator. The 300tdi block is longer than the 2.25l or 200tdi motors. Ideally, the 200tdi is the correct retrofit for a 2A.
yes
on a 200tdi and 300tdi there is a little square pot at the back left hand side of the engine bay. The pot is see through. on the side of it there are 2 lines, a minimum and a maximum line. Using DOT 4 brake fluid to top up but do not exceed the maximum line.
there is no difference between a landrover 200 tdi and a discovery tdi ! A 200tdi is a discovery tdi . I think you mean what is the difference between a 200 tdi and a 300 tdi,in which case not a lot ,apart from slightly different engine and box ,rear lights and bumper and head lights and grille. basically the same motor apart from these few things
Either a 300tdi which is a 2.5 litre turbo diesel intercooled engine or a 4.2 litre petrol engine.
yes
difference schematic diagram between carnot heat engine and heat engine
difference between 2.5 and 3 liter engine is .5 of a liter
What are the differences between a 350 and a 454 engine?
The main difference between a diesel and a steam engine is the diesel engine is an internal combustion and the steam engine is external combustion.
