Oceans are natural. They are home to many species of fish and coral and are much larger than a bay.

A bay is of course smaller and is man made. The do have fish but don't have coral like the oceans.

I'm not to sure because if you think about Hudson bay and the Gulf of Mexico they are nearly the same size as each other try searching "bay" and "gulf" separately and check for different results. hope I helped :)

The main difference is that a gulf is a 'large deep bay', it is a deep place in the earth, an abyss. A bay is a large opening into land, but not nearly as deep as a gulf. The difference therefore is in depth

A bay is a much smaller body of water than an ocean. A bay is an inlet into the shoreline and can be on a lake as well as an ocean. Green Bay is a bay in Wisconsin with Door County jutting out into Lake Michigan.
