∙ 15y agoA gigabyte is a thousand million bytes and is a measure of computer memory. Crudely speaking a gigabyte can store a billion letters or numbers. Mhz stands for megahertz which is a measure of frequency, usually the number of cycles per second of an oscillating electric current. It can be a measure of the speed of processing of a computer. So gigabyte = computer storage capacity and megahertz = speed. The higher the better in both cases.
