The heliocentric model suggests the theory that all of the planets in the solar system revolve around the sun. The geocentric model suggests the theory that the sun and all of the planets in the solar system, excluding Earth of course, revolve around the Earth.

The difference is an earth-centered model or geocentric is a model where the Earth is at the center of the solar system, whereas a sun-centered or heliocentric is a model where the sun is at the center of the solar system. Earth Centered was the belief that the Earth was the center of the Solar System and that everything orbited around the Earth. It was the widely held belief of many early civilizations that the Earth was the center of the Solar System. They believed this because from their observations everything in the night sky moved and as far as they could tell, the Earth did not move.
they have nothing alike

Both are incorrect. The fact that the Earth revolves around the Sun doesn't make the Sun the center of the Universe either; the Sun, together with all of its planets, are in turn revolving around the center of the Milky Way.

Even today, we use the term 'sunrise' and 'sunset', people saw the sun move through the sky and believed that the Earth was stationary and the sun was orbiting around it. It probably never occurred to the common man that it could be the other way around.

What is the difference between the geocentric and heliocetric models of planetary motion?

Heliocentric is the motion of earth around the sun. Geocentric is the motion of earth rotating about its axis.

Is error possible in weather predictions how and why?

Yes. First, making an accurate prediction requires getting good, accurate data, but there are limits to how much data we can gather. A small variation in one weather condition now can make a big difference later. Second, we rely on a number of computerized forecast models to make prediction, but none of these models are perfect, so meteorologists have to make a subjective judgement of what the consensus between models is. Third, while we have a good grasp on the dynamics of how weather works, we still do not understand all it subtleties.

What is the main difference between geocentric and helicentric models of the solar system?

Geocentric model that was prevalent in the middle ages said that the Earth was in the center of the solar system (in fact of the universe) and all other planets revolved around it. Modern science says that in the solar system the Sun is at the center and all its planets revolve around it.

How do the geocentric and heliocentric models of the solar system compare?

Models are designed to serve particular purposes. In the case of astronomical models, they are designed to explain how things in the sky behave. For this purpose, heliocentric models are superior, because they are a closer description of what actually happens than geocentric models. They aren't ENTIRELY accurate, but close enough. However, if your purpose is to navigate on the surface of the Earth using a sextant, geocentric models are almost as accurate and make it a WHOLE lot easier to do the math. (I used to be an instructor in the US Air Force's celestial navigation school.)

How did scientists come up up with models?

Scientists come up with models by trying to find a mathematical description of some phenomenon, which will give predictions that can be verified experimentally.
