Clairvoyant has some power to predict the events in the future. The Prophets were selected persons among different communities and given the status as Prophets to guide the human in the staraight path to achieve the final goal of their coming in this world. They -Pophets- speak only what they receive from God. Some Prophets have been appointed as Messengers and given Religions by God.
They all mean much the same in describing somebody who tries to predict situations in the future by a vision or divination or tell people their fortunes. Clairvoyants usually charge people money for doing this and often rely on tarot cards or Astrology, and some psychics do much the same although others claim to be in communication with spirits. Seers and Prophets are really more historical and of much greater fame. The great prophets of history being people like Moses, Nostradamus and Mohamed.

A seer is a revelator and a prophet also. There have been many seers in the history of God's people on this earth, but not so many as there have been prophets. A seer is greater than a prophet.
