There really is no answer to the oft heard question; "What is the difference between Black Magic and White Magic?" or "Are you a good witch or a bad witch." Fact is the magical energies we use are very much like other forms of power. What most people do not understand is that Magic is simply the manipulation of naturally occurring energies by the will and hand of a (hopefully) ethical practitioner.
To help me futher answer this question I will use electricity as a mundane corollary. The energy itself is neither good nor bad. It is in its use that polarity can be attributed. When electricity is used to cook food, heat homes and light the darkness it is perceived as good. When it is used to torture people, damage things or kill someone, then it is perceived as bad or evil. The energy itself is neither, it simply is. In the same way, magical energies are simply there. It is how we draw upon and use the energies that determine how they are perceived.
a bad witch will kill you if they have to but a good witch trys to help you

"Witch" historically refers to a person dressed in black garb with a tall pointed hat - usually depicted stirring some wicked brew that casts magic spells. "Which" means a selection ... as in "which" brand of toothpaste do you like better?
