In humans, the sperm from the man swims up to the oviduct of the woman for fertilisation. It fuses with the ovum, thereby forming a zygote.

In plants, the pollen grain go through the pollen tube. Two male gametes are required for fertilisation. One fuses with the egg to form the zygote while the other fuses with the definitive nucleus, providing food for the zygote.

Hope this helps!

Animal Fertilization:

During the sexual operation the male sperm liquid (semen) produced from the testicles is ejaculated from the penis into the female vagina containing the sperms that contains the male's characteristics.
The sperms move from the vagina into the egg contaning the tamale's characteristics Where they struggle to enter in it, but only one passes into and then the egg is closed, containing one only sperm except in some special cases (twins).

The fuzion of the spermatozoon with egg results the first cell of the baby.

The cell accures cellular decvision in the uterus, to reach the birth of a female or male baby at end defined by the sex of the sperm.

Plant Fertilization:
The male pollen grains which are located in bags (anther ) go out of the anther when it's cut in the spring time. They are transported by air, water and insects to the stigma of the female flower (a sticky surface that receives the pollen grains).

The grain to pollen moves in a tube from the stigma to the ovaire where the cellular
devision starts. The operation ends with the production of the fruit.
