The main difference is specilization. I am a chemical engineer myself, and we have the option of specializing in a wide variety of degrees, such as genetic engineering. Note that chemical engineering is a very broad field dealing with polymers, Metallurgy, Biology, environmental chemistry, and the list goes on. Genetic engineering, in short, is really a specialization of chemical engineering to specifically biological chemistry.
A chemical engineer is a person with diverse experience and dynamic expertise who, in general design, control, operate, maintain processes including nuclear processes.
A nuclear engineer is a very specialized engineer who will be typically involved in design, operating and maintainence of nuclear plants and equipment and machines involved. It includes detailed analysis. A chemical engineer or a mechanical engineer can specialize into a nuclear engineer.
Chemical and Nuclear engineering are very similar. Beacuse both have quite same courses. i.e some Chemical engineers are also working at nuclear reactors as nuclear engineers. Due to which some say that its the branch of Chemical engieering. Nuclear engineer cant work in place of chemical engineer. but a chemical engineer can do. Theres a quite big overlap between both fields which is needed to be understood.
With proper safeguards, which a good nuclear engineer would most certainly have in place, the only danger of being a nuclear engineer would be the negativity received when anti-nuclear activists find out your profession. Oh well. :-)>
a nuclear engineer.....
Probably either a nuclear engineer or a biochemical engineer, depending on the goal.

Nuclear decay involves the contents of the atomic nucleus, the protons and neutrons. Chemical reactions involve the electrons.
nuclear decay rates take more time and chemical reaction rates could happen fast.
Some high-paying jobs in engineering are chemical engineer, aerospace engineer, materials engineer, petroleum drilling engineer, and nuclear engineer.
Both Chemical and nuclear reactions form new substances.

A nuclear reaction is much powerful than a chemical reaction.
watch the simpsons... homer is a nuclear engineer, and he works in a powerplant therefore; nuclear engineers work in nuclear powerplants THE END!

Nuclear decay rates vary, but chemical reaction rates are constant
