What is the difference between dill's family situation and scouts family situation in the story to kill a mockingbird?

Dill's parents don't seem to want him or have anything to do with him. They ignored him so much that he decided to run away from home to the Finches household. Scout's father Atticus may not be the best parent figure but he is her friend. He helps her understand right from wrong and he loves her to the best of his ability. The last thing he does is ignore her,she is so young she craves attention. Scout does not have a mother,but she has Calpurnia and Aunt Alexandria.
