  • A half adder has 2 inputs and 2 outputs, these are usually called something like: Ain, Bin, Sout, Cout.
  • A full adder has 3 inputs and 2 outputs, these are usually called something like: Ain, Bin, Cin, Sout, Cout.
A & B are the 2 bits to be added, C is the carry bit, and S is the sum bit.

A half adder cannot propagate carry as it has no carry input, a full adder canpropagate carry. A full adder can be built from 2 half adders.

What are the difference between computer organization and computer architecture?

Computer organization is how operational attributes are linked together and contribute to realise the architectural specifications.Computer architecture is the architectural attrributes like physical address memory,CPU and how they should be made and made to coordinate with each other keeping the future demands and goals in mind.Computer architecture comes before computer organiation. Its like building the design and architecture of house takes maximum time and then organisation is building house by bricks or by latest technology keeping the basic layout and architecture of house in mind. What is Difference between software system architecture and building architecture?

Difference Between Software Architecture and Software DesignSoftware Architecture focuses more on the interaction between the externally visible components of the system where as the Design is about how the internal components of the system interact with each other.Software Architecture is more about what we want the system to do and and Design is about how we want to achieve that.Software architecture is at a higher level of abstraction than the Software Design.Software Architecture is concerned with issues beyond the data structures and algorithms used in the system.

What is the difference between network architecture and network topology?

Network architecture refers to the design and structure of a network, including components, protocols, and technologies used for communication. Network topology, on the other hand, refers to the physical or logical layout of devices and how they are connected in a network, such as bus, star, ring, or mesh. In essence, network architecture defines how components work together, while network topology defines how components are arranged.

What is computer architecture and computer organization?

What is architecture?Architecture is the bit of the CPU (Central Processing Unit, or Processor) and/or software. The software can be an Operating System (such as Windows, MAC, or Linux) or even Video Games and other applications. The bit is the amount of data flow that goes through the CPU. Common bits today are 32-bit and 64-bit. If you have a 32-bit CPU, you MUST use a 32-bit OS (Operating System). If you have a 64-bit you can run BOTH 32-bit or 64-bit.What should you chose? If you have a 64-bit CPU, choose 64-bit. It can allocate more RAM (Random Access Memory) and can run both 32-bit and 64-bit software.Seeing x86?That is a 32-bit architecture. Why is it called this? I have no idea. What is a computer organization? When you install an OS, you are asked your name, and organization you work for. It is to register that computer in your name in case anyone needs to find out who it belongs to. If you don't have an organization you can put your address, or leave it blank.
