Justice would provide equal treatment under the law and the expectation that any legitimate grievance could be properly addressed in a court of law or other venue, without any exception based on a person's wealth or other social differentiation, in an effort to make the aggrieved person whole. Fairness indicates that everyone should have the same advantages in life, but unfortunately this is not true. A person who is born into more wealth, for example, has an unfair advantage over someone who was not. While it will be easy for the wealthier person to acquire the education and tools needed to assure their success, the poorer individual may have to fight an uphill battle acquiring those tools.
