- Trying to decide if you love your friend as a friend or perhaps love them as a possible lover can be very difficult because true love is about loving and caring for someone and you are friends first and lovers second. However, some males and females can get along like brother and sister and there is no change in attitude towards each other, but for some friends it can happen where one or both of them may fall in love. To love a friend is a similar feeling to loving a parent; grandparent; sibling. If you feel sexually attracted to them then it well may mean you are in love with them because of their good qualities.
