Spring tides are formed by the constructive interference of bulges created by the moon and sun. Spring tides occur when the Sun, Moon, and Earth are aligned.
Neap tides are formed by the destructive interference of bulges created by the moon and sun. Neap tides occur when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align to make a right angle.
Spring tides are therefore larger than neap tides, new moons and full moons occur in the spring tide but the 1st qauter of the moon and 3rd quarter of the moon occur in neap tides...

Spring Tides When the moon is full or new, the gravitational pull of the moon and sun are combined. At these times, the high tides are very high and the low tides are very low. This is known as a spring high tide. Spring tides are especially strong tides (they do not have anything to do with the season Spring). They occur when the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon are in a line. The gravitational forces of the Moon and the Sun both contribute to the tides. Spring tides occur during the full moon and the new moon. Neap Tides During the moon's quarter phases the sun and moon work at right angles, causing the bulges to cancel each other. The result is a smaller difference between high and low tides and is known as a neap tide. Neap tides are especially weak tides. They occur when the gravitational forces of the Moon and the Sun are perpendicular to one another (with respect to the Earth). Neap tides occur during quarter moons. == ==

The difference is that the spring tides When the Sun, Earth & Moon are in alignment with one another spring tides occur. Spring tides are higher than average. When the Sun - Earth line is at right angles to the Earth - Moon line, we see "neap" tides, which are lower than average. A tide in which the difference between high and low tide is the least. Neap tides occur twice a month when the Sun and Moon are at right angles to the Earth. When this is the case, their total gravitational pull on the Earth's water is weakened because it comes from two different directions. Compare spring tide. See more at tide.
I like high tides with jellybeans in it better.

OK well a spring tide is a tide with the greatest difference between high
and low tide that occurs when the sun and he moon are aligned with
Earth at the new moon and the full moon. OK I don't have the answer for the difference between a spring tide and a neap tide but ill get it as soon as possible
spring tide is when the sun and the moon pull the tide [via gravity] in the same direction. this causes higher high tides and lower low tides. neap tide is when the sun and the moon pull oppositely, causing the high tides and low tides to not be so extreme.
they cycle twice a month.
neap tides are moderate tides at normal rates while spring tides are more extereme ex to high or to low .
Spring tides occur when the moon is at its new moon and full moon phase. Neap tides occur at the 1st quarter and 3rd quarter phases. Also, spring tides are higher tides than neap tides

No, it's not either of those things. A neap tide is when the difference between low tide and high tide is at a minimum. They occur roughly twice a month, when the moon is at first or third quarter. When the moon is new or full, you get the opposite of a neap tide, a "spring tide", when the difference between low tide and high tide as at a maximum.
both spring tides and neap tides have a 20% difference from normal tides
Neap tide is the lowest but not of good advantage for an oceanographers like spring tide
the opposite of low tide is high tide.

I think you mean tides. Neap tide is the smallest difference high-low tide and spring tide is the largest.

A neap tide happens during the quarter phase of the moon and they are weak tides. There is a very small difference between high and low tides during this time.

Spring :]
Spring tides, when the Moon is full or new, are higher than average, while neap tides when the Moon is at one of the quarters has lower than average tides.

the opposite of low tide is high tide.
