The word is spelled 'Permeability'. Porosity means something can take water into itself but Permeable means it will allow water to pass through it
Porosity is the amount of void space in a rock or other earth material (like a sand deposit) - in other words, it´s how much water a material can hold. Permeability refers to how well water flows through a material - that´s controlled by how large the pores are, and how well connected they are.
yes.... it is an answer for porosity....
Obviously enough.
physical! :)
porosity
Porosity refers to the amount of empty space that is between particles of material. When something has a low porosity, it does not have much of this space between its particles.
"Porosity" can be used to refer to voidage of a granular material. Pporosity could also denote the relative volume of pores, cracks and spaces in the solid body, while voidage deals exclusively with the amount of spaces between particles in relation to the overall volume occupied by the granular material. Porosity is measure of void spaces in a material.voidage means the relative amount of space between materials that are tightly packed ..........
If you were to graph particle size and porosity, it would be a constant slope (horizontal line).Porosity is not affected by particle size.
The principal cells in the distal convoluted tubule.
big particles=low porosity small particles=high porosity
Porosity or pore space
A piece of sand on the beach in Miami and onh on a beach in Japan have the whole earth between them.

Ang kahulugan ng "porosity" sa Tagalog ay "papak" o "bukas-bukas." Ito ay tumutukoy sa dami o kahabaan ng mga butas o espasyo na makikita sa isang bagay tulad ng lupa o kahoy.
The larger the particle size, the higher the porosity. Also keep in mind that angular particles have a higher porosity than round particles. *Good way to remember porosity is that the spaces between particles are "pore-like."
Porosity refers to the percentage of open space between individual rock particles in a rock layer. This space can be between grains or within the cracks or cavities of the rock.
