How are the motivations of property criminals different from those of enterprise criminals?

although i am not a phsycologist, i do have a great interest in the law. no i am not a lawyer. i would think that the person that does property crime does so for immediate gratification, i.e. drug habits, food, etc, whereas an enterprise criminal does so for long term purposes, quick money for early retirement. the common thread for both is laziness.
