Then the system circulation begins. From the left atria, the (now oxygenated) blood travels through the bicuspid (or left atrioventricular) valve, into the left ventricle and then out the aortic valve into the aorta and into the rest of the body (including the coronary arteries). The blood flows through the bodies arteries, capillary beds and veins until it collects into the two main veins (inferior and superior vena cava) that drain into the right atria of the heart. So basically, the pulmonary (or pulmonic) circulatory system goes from the right side of the heart, through the lungs, and back to the left side of the heart, while the systemic circulatory system goes from the left side of the heart, through the body, and back to the right side of the heart.
