Frequently the beat is done on a drum machine and repeated over and over. Often times too, the bass is strongly emphasized.
Country Music has a pattern of repeated chord progressions. Using a lot of instruments such as the guitar, violin, fiddle, harmonica, piano, banjo, bass, drums, and a few more, the voice is reminiscent of the soft twang heard in the south.
They both can be gentle, or loud, and make strong statements concerning pride, the opposite sex, feelings of anger, humor, the same as rock, or rhythm and blues.
