Seamless (SMLS) pipe is formed by drawing a solid billet over a piercing rod to create the hollow shell. Seamless pipe withstands pressure better than other types, and is often more easily available than welded pipe.
Welded pipe is formed by rolling plate and welding the seam. The weld flash can be removed from the outside or inside surfaces using a scarfing blade. The weld zone can also be heat treated to make the seam less visible.
ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) pipe is manufactured by rolling metal and then welding it longitudinally across its length. Seamless pipe is manufactured by extruding the metal to the desired length, hence ERW pipe has a welded joint in its cross-section, while seamless pipe does not have any joint in its cross-section through-out its length.
The difference between Carbon Steel Pipe and Seamless Pipe is Carbon Steel Pipe is made up of Carbon Steel i.e an Iron-Carbon Alloy having Carbon Content ranging from 0.12 to 2%. On the other hand, a Seamless pipe is a pipe that is having no joins in it's full length and the full length is made up of a single cast.
Conduit pipe is for wire. Seamless pipe means you need a coupling to connect them.
A welded pipe has a visible seam. -That's a little clue about why they call the other kind 'seamless' .
welded pipe is a pipe made joining using weld metal to make it a pipe..and a seamless is made like moulding
The difference between seamless and welded (as it is commonly known) pipes is the welded joint along the longitudinal direction. Seamless pipes are manufactured by continuous extrusion process. Seamless pipes have greater bursting and tensile strength than the welded ones.

Non-seemless pipe is rolled from a flat piece of metal and welded lengthways to form the piping. Seemless pipe is extruded and has no seems and is generally stronger.
There is a reference in ASTM A234 table A1.1WPB or WPC are welded construction, it must have a W at end as... WPBW or WPCW.WPB or WPC was made seamless, therefore it means Wrought Product and the last letter means the grade... B (35 Kpsi SMYS) and grade C (40 Kpsi SMYS).Regards,Jaime Rosendo
Most pipes are made by taking a strip of metal, rolling it up and then fusing the seam together. They're almost always weaker along the seam than anywhere else. There are ways of making pipes where the wall is a single piece that hasn't been welded shut. They're stronger , more expensive and they're called seamless.

seam less pipes are having with out weld but produced by extension process it is costly than seam
One pipe is electric resistance welded (erw) the other is extruded through a thimble. In other words one has a seam the other doesn't.
Worught Pipe Bend
Stainless steel bends are mainly manufactured using seamless or welded stainless steel pipes in various grades such as 304, 316/316L, 904L, 321, 317L, Inconel,Moneland Hastealloyalloys. Stainless steel bends are a type of pipe fittings used to join to ends of a pipe, in areas where standard size pipe fittings such as elbows, reducers and tees cannot be used.

Copper fittings can be joined with a chemical compound or welded with a special copper alloy. In tight spaces or where welding equipment is prohibited, a chemical sealer such as Liquid Copper is recommended.
can you weld two fittings have the specified the first is API 5L X60 and A234 WPHY60
If you have a lot to install i would weld. 2 in. is a very big pipe to screw together
