L96 is the Accuarcy International Precision Marksman type rifle firing the NATO 7.62 x 51mm. It uses a Schmidt & Bender 6x42 telescopic sight.
L118a1 is a sniper rifle system using the Accuarcy International Arctic Warfare (same rifle as above but designed for use in colder climates) firing the NATO 7.62 x 51mm. It uses a Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50 PM II telescopic sight.
L115a1 is the Accuarcy International Arctic Warfare Super Magnum firing the .338 Lapua Magnum (8.6mm x 70mm). It uses a Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50 PM II telescopic sight.
L115a3 is the above rifle system but "improved" with;
I say "improved" because a folding stock is not usually desireable for a sniper rifle system. The L118a1 does not appear to have the above improvements but is more rugged and has a supperior telescopic sight compared to its predecessor the L96.
Naturally because of its longer range the L115a3 needs to be a much more stable system (hence the cheekpads etc) and most importantly the best available telescopic sight.
Price.
The 22 is slightly larger in caliber
Muskets have smooth bores and rifles have rifling - spiral grooves to make the bullet spin. Rifles have longer range and better accuracy. Both were originally muzzleloaders, but rifles eventually began to use metallic cartridges.
Not much. They both make inexpensive to very expensive air rifles.
A rifle is a shoulder fired weapon. Revolvers are typically handguns. There HAVE been revolving rifles, but they are rather scarce.
The AK-74 and AK-47 are both assault rifles that look identical, but the only difference is that the AK-74 is newer and uses different cartridges (ammunition).
The E model was an economy model made from 60-84
A handgun is made to be fired with one hand. Rifles and shotguns, from the shoulder, with two hands. Shotguns are smoothbores- the inside of the barrel is a smooth tube. Rifles have spiral lines cut on the inside of the barrel. These lines (rifling) cause the bullet to spin in flight, improving the accuracy.
4/100's of an inch. .50 cal = .5 inch .54 cal = .54 inch
Rim Fire bullets (Rifles or guns) require a firing pin that strikes the bullet casing and the resulting explosion of gunpowder in the shell fires the bullet out of the barrel. Air guns have NO firing pin. An air valve or piston forces air or C02 into the barrel behind the pellet or BB and this shoots the projectile out of the barrel.
A Beretta is a manufacturer of pistols, rifles and shot guns. Pistol is a term used to describe any type of handgun, but mostly is used for semiautomatics as opposed to revolvers
no, only caps for percussions pistols and caps for percussion rifles. gun stores know the difference.
