All Ford Expedition 1997 - 2000 are all the same. The only difference are the models Xlt and EB.
Limited is the top of the line.
they are one and the same
The XL and XLT are trim levels. The XLT is a higher trim level....usually including PW, PL, cruise control...etc...etc.
limited is a trim level , above Eddie Bauer trim level , which is above the XLT trim level
In reality, no, XLT does not mean "Extra Large Truck", XLT, is just another trim package, like Limited, or Eddie Bauer, it's just the lowest trim packages, which means it is not as fancy as the Limited trim package, which is the highest, Eddie Bauer, which is the medium, and XLT, which is the lowest trim package. Yes, XLT means Extra Large Truck
The main difference between the limited and the Eddie Bauer is that the Eddie Bauer has two-tone leather seats and the limited does not. Also, the limited has chrome roof racks, running boards and wheels (2003 up). The XLT is a cheaper version of the Explorer. It features cloth seats and downgraded features.
the difference between the two is the interior and exterior accesories, the xlt has an upgraded interior and may have exterior items that are only available on the xlt and not on the xls
The Limited is a " higher " trim level than the XLT ( XLT , Eddie Bauer , Limited )
XLT means Extra Large Truck
It's a higher trim level ( XLS , XLT , Limited ) Some of the standard features on the " Limited " are offered as options on the XLT
Yes , XLT and Eddie Bauer are just two of the Ford trim levels
