They are the same person, Jesus Christ. Son of man is the the term Jesus used when He was describing Himself. Son of God is who He actually was, being born of the virgin Mary, and conceived by the Holy Spirit. Scholars speculate that the reason that Jesus referred to Himself as the Son of man and not the Son of God was simply to show humility.
